Upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Hockstra was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award and the Palmer Student Fellowship Award for recognition of service and leadership.
During his residency program, Dr. Hockstra also worked under Dr. Peter Fysh to learn more about the positive effects of chiropractic on infants and children. For more information, see Dr. Fysh’s book, Chiropractic Care for the Pediatric Patient.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Hockstra is a certified full-body (with nerve entrapment) A.R.T. provider, and performs muscle work for patients and professional athletes.
Dr. Hockstra, a native of Maryland, received his B.S. in molecular biology from Grove City College. When he is not with patients, Dr. H. enjoys volunteering ART care at sporting events, painting, sculpting, and home building projects. He and his family live in Northern Virginia.
